Peter and Danielle Gillespie-Hallinan
Danielle Gillespie, a staff writer for the Palisadian-Post, married Peter Hallinan along the McKenzie River in Eugene, Oregon, on July 26.
Danielle is the daughter of Ralph and Lisa Gillespie of Hermiston, Oregon. After graduating from Hermiston High School in 1999, she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Oregon in 2003.
Peter is the son of Tom and Nancy Hallinan of Fairbanks, Alaska. He graduated from West Valley High School in Fairbanks in 2000 and earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Oregon in 2004. Peter works as a video editor in Los Angeles.
Following their wedding, the couple honeymooned on the Oregon Coast. They reside near Culver City.
