Presbyterian Preschool director Julie Baczewski has invited Pattie Fitzgerald, a prominent child predator educator, to speak to community parents on Wednesday, May 1 at 9 a.m. The cost is $20 at the door and is for parents only. Fitzgerald will also speak at 2 p.m. on May 8 to children ages four to eight years old. There is no charge. “Pattie has led many safety programs over the years and always give parents valuable information on this difficult subject,” Baczewski said, noting that Fitzgerald’s presentation to parents is about an hour, with a question-and-answer period afterwards. She has presented her “Safe-Smarts” lecture and workshops across the country.
