Sixty-three firefighters made quick work of a structure fire on the 1500 block of Michael Lane in The Highlands on Friday night after a garage of a three-story condo burst into flames.
“Fire rapidly extended vertically within the walls of the two floors above moving into the attic,” said the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Crews quickly employed a coordinated fire attack and ventilation operation to extinguish the flames while stopping the spread of fire to adjoining structures and brush area.”
The fire was officially knocked down at 7:05 p.m., one hour and 15 minutes after it began.
No injuries have been reported, according to the LAFD.
