“I’m really excited that the Marquez Food Truck Festival has become such a great institution for our community. This is the sixth one and it’s still going strong. I couldn’t be more proud,” said Food Truck Festival Chair Amanda Keston, who organized the event alongside husband Dan Keston.
Iverbe Day and Sports Camp counselors played games with the kids, including hula hoops and capture the flag, while Palisades High School marching band played two sets and let the kids try out their instruments, Keston told the Palisadian-Post. Fancy Feet Performance Dance Group danced for more than 30 minutes and was the last performance of the year for the 10 graduating seniors, she added.

Food Truck Festival attendees had the opportunity to buy school supplies, books and Marquez spirit wear.
Marquez will host a “Back to School” food truck festival on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 4-7 p.m.
