More than half a century after kicking off in a front room, the annual Louis League Fashion Show, organized by parents, students and faculty at Corpus Christi and Calvary schools, raised at least $10,000 for the venerable order of the Sisters of St. Louis. The League organizers—pictured below, from left, Sue O’Connor, Julie Jennison, Nichelle Toomire and Mackay Schinto—said it was a bumper year, and they expected to raise at least $100,000 for the nuns this season. The featured designer changes all the time: This year, the models were dressed in hot fashion from Velvet by Graham & Spencer of Brentwood Mart. Boys were allowed in to sell raffle tickets.
