The Palisades High basketball team is off to a very promising start. Having faced tough competition at the Paul Sutton Tip Off Classic in Burbank and Rose City Classic in Pasadena, the Dolphins began Western League play on the road Monday and defeated Hamilton, 80-69.
Palisades split its two league matchups against the Yankees last winter, falling 63-58 at home, then prevailing 65-58 at Hamilton. On Wednesday the Dolphins traveled to Westchester and Friday night at 6 p.m. they host University.
Palisades finished third in league last season, earning an Open Division playoff berth as one of the City Section’s eight best teams.
