One of the latest Palisadian celebrities to exit Pacific Palisades is actor Dennis Quaid, whose Spanish style home in The Riviera recently sold for $5.9 million.
The listing hit the market last August with an asking price of $6.495 million.
According to The Agency listing, the 6,114-square-foot house was built in 1929 and includes six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
“One of the most beautiful original Spanish estates that was renovated with the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern conveniences,” the listing boasts.
Sited on a more than 16,000-square-foot lot, the property is designed to be a quiet and private setting, meant for entertaining—with an oversized living room and immense fireplace.
A gourmet kitchen features two Viking refrigerators, Wolf range and ovens, a chef’s island, and eat-in breakfast room. Four of the six bedrooms are located upstairs, plus a large office and en-suite playroom.
The home also includes a high-end media room, 10-car motor court and two laundry rooms. Outside, the grounds feature a large pool and spa, as well as lush landscaping and fruit trees.
This sale signals the finalization of Quaid’s divorce to real estate agent Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, whom he married in 2004 and shares two children with.
Architectural Digest reported that Quaid and Buffington purchased The Riviera home in 2013 for $5.1 million.
Quaid is allegedly residing in a Brentwood Hills home that he purchased late in 2017 for $3.9 million.
