One of the latest Palisadian celebrities to exit Pacific Palisades is actor Dennis Quaid, whose Spanish style home in The Riviera is up for sale at $6.495 million.
According to The Agency listing, the 6,114-square-foot house was built in 1929 and includes six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Like many residences of high-profile stars, the house is gated for privacy and security.
Among its luxurious features is a spacious chef’s kitchen, media room with an HD projector for cinematic entertainment, high ceilings throughout, two laundry rooms, walk-in closet, a dedicated workout space and the most discreet stained glass windows.
“Expansive entertaining spaces include an oversized living room reminiscent of the Biltmore Hotel with leaded windows, beamed ceilings and an immense stone fireplace,” the listing stated.
Additionally, the 16,030-square-foot lot boasts a heated swimming pool and spa, surrounded by lush greenery and plants. Two palm trees provide a natural centerpiece for the courtyard.
This sale signals the finalization of Quaid’s divorce to real estate agent Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, whom he married in 2004 and shares two children with.
Architectural Digest reported that Quaid and Buffington purchased The Riviera home in 2013 for $5.1 million. Quaid is now allegedly residing in a Brentwood Hills home that he purchased late in 2017 for $3.9 million.
At age 64, the actor is showing no signs of slowing down his career. He will soon be seen alongside James Franco and Zoe Kravitz on screen in “Kin,” directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker. Quaid will reunite with Franco for a drama called “The Pretenders.”
Finally, Quaid is slated to play former President—and Palisadian—Ronald Reagan in “Reagan,” directed by Sean McNamara.
