On a sunny Sunday in August, the Coronet Debutante Ball Board announced their newest Palisadian debutantes at a luncheon at the Bel-Air Country Club.
The teenage girls were invited to debut based on community service criteria. Mary Montalbo, CDBB President, said the young ladies to be presented have worked as volunteers in the community for six years, in addition to the service requirements held by their schools.

“The girls are grounded in giving back to society. They have performed their service willingly, with skill and open hearts,” Montalbo said.
She added that she believes these future debutantes will continue to volunteer in their communities for the rest of their lives.
Montalbo handed each girl a 14K gold lavalier to be worn for the first time on the evening of their debut, Nov. 29. This will mark the 65th Coronet Ball.
