You may know Coldwell Banker in Pacific Palisades as a reputable residential brokerage company, but what you may not know is that they love giving back to the community, especially on the Fourth of July.
On this year’s holiday, Coldwell Banker opened up its doors to all from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. between the race and parade, offering free pony rides, massages, balloons and snow cones.
All of this fun did have a meaningful cause behind it though. Associates read children’s books “JJ The American Street Dog” and “JJ Goes to Puppy Class” written by local author Diane Rose-Solomon to eager listeners. They sold copies of the books in honor of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Foundation and their drive to support Adopt-a-Pet. A share of the proceeds went to the foundation.
“Of course we marched in the parade” said Anne Russell, Branch Manager.
West Coast Escrow served as a general sponsor and First Capital Mortgage lent Coldwell Banker a red convertible for the parade. First Cap rep Allen McLain had the honor of driving the car in the parade.
Many generous sponsors allowed for such a fun event at Coldwell Banker. Pony rides from “Netty’s Party Pals” were sponsored by James Corbett, Christopher and Alicia Damon, Holly Davis, Michael Pinero and Stephanie Spencer. Shaved ice snow cones from “Snowflake Shaved Ice” were sponsored by Barbara Adler, Blanca Chavoya, Inne Chung, Mike Craig, Michael Edlen, Fran Flanagan, Michelle Gertzman, Adam Katz, Carroll McEachern, Lisa Morrin and Allen Mueller.
Balloons were sponsored by Anne Russell, Simone Paterno, Emilia Eshraghi and Afrouz Nosratian.
Massages were provided by Brian Panosian and Bill Shuttic.
