Actor Chris Pratt and writer Katherine Schwarzenegger have listed their six-bedroom, 12-bath home in Pacific Palisades for $32 million.
Pratt spent $15.6 million on the Marquez Knolls lot in June 2018, purchasing the expansive unfurnished “construction site” in an off-market sale, Variety previously reported.
The couple spent the following two years building a new home from the ground up. The former dwelling had an 8,000-square-foot interior and was built in 1995.
Described as a “one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece,” the 2021 six-bedroom, 12-bath residence spreads across 12,900 square feet. It boasts “jet liner” views from Los Padres Mountains to the coastline of Santa Monica Bay, the “Queens Necklace” and beyond.
“Hidden and secure within a boutique gated community, the nearly one-acre estate sits behind its own gates enveloped in privacy, serenity, elegance and romance,” according to the listing. “With no expense spared, this property boasts luxury quality construction, with grand scale and volume throughout, flooded with fresh air and brilliant Southern California sunlight.”
Each room, including all six bedroom suites, presents bespoke finishes, while the steel doors and windows distributed throughout the home provide a sleek and modern aesthetic.
The home features a formal dining room and multiple private patios—allowing plenty of opportunities to entertain guests.
Additional amenities include a fully equipped gym, along with a spa with a hot and cold plunge, steam room and sauna, a full-size movie theater, and convertible golf simulator.
Outdoors, the residence boasts grassy lawns, patio spaces and a basketball court. There is a resort-like pool cabana with a full kitchen and pizza oven. The saltwater pool is complete with a Baja shelf, hot tub and swim jets, offering “a refreshing oasis.”
“Nestled in the peaceful embrace of the quiet mountains, but only minutes from the beach and heart of the Palisades, this unrivaled offering exemplifies the epitome of luxury living,” the listing read.
Shana Tavangarian of The Beverly Hills Estates and Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Realty hold the listing.
Pratt is known for his works “Avengers Infinity War,” “Avengers: Endgame,” “Jurassic World,” “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Parks and Recreation.” Schwarzenegger has penned three self-help books, as well as a children’s book.
Pratt and Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, got married in 2019. Schwarzenegger spent some of her childhood years in the Palisades.
