As Palisades Village celebrates its one-year anniversary this weekend, the Palisadian-Post checked in with tenants to see how the first year of business has been.
ANINE BING
I’ve loved being part of this community at the Palisades Village. From day one, it’s been such a warm welcoming from everyone, other tenants, the local families and friends of the brand.
My favorite part about being there is that I am one of many female-founded brands that have spaces there, which is such an empowering thing to think about. It’s so inspiring to know that Caruso fosters such a female-centric space.
I love bringing my kids there on the weekends or whenever there is an event, the energy is infectious and so far, we’ve loved being part of everything.
We are opening even more stores outside of California, which we’re so excited about. We’re opening new stores in Miami, Sydney, San Francisco, another one in Germany.
I love thinking about all the ANINE BING stores popping up in these unique cities and diverse communities—it really ties back to the fact that we are a global brand and modern fashion house, which has been my goal since day one.

This past year has been an adventure with the opening of our first U.S. brick and mortar shop. We have met so many lovely families and are grateful for the support we’ve had from the local community.
We recently launched our in-store loyalty program and are looking forward to an amazing year two.

See’s Candies
It has been so wonderful being able to spread some sweetness to the Pacific Palisades community this past year. We have loved getting to know different members of the community and we have really appreciated being welcomed into the Palisades family.
This is the most exciting time of the year for See’s as we are about to kick off the holiday season. Shoppers can already come in and try some of our Halloween specials such as the Milk Chocolate Ghosts and the Orange Krispys. But each month for the remainder of the year will feature different holiday treats for our customers.

Hank’s
What’s really epitomized the last year of operating was one night—a group of gentlemen were watching a baseball game at the bar at Hank’s and said, “You know what? We’ve never done this in the Palisades. Watched the game, had a beer and a great steak, and walked home after.” We’re thrilled to have brought this to the neighborhood and be part of the new renaissance in the Palisades.”

We have really loved being in the Palisades this past year. The community has been so warm and welcoming, and we are so glad that we opened our first brick-and-mortar store here.
Getting to know our shoppers has been such a rewarding experience. We love meeting new people as well as seeing the same faces week after week.
We’re thankful to be in a community that shops consciously and comes to us for their gifting needs. We can’t wait to see what year two brings.
You can look forward to new products, new charity collaborations and more events. We are always working hard on expanding our collection, as the more products we ethically source and sell, the more women we can reach and collectively give back to.
We launch new pieces in our collection almost every week, so our store offering is always growing. This means we can connect with more women in marginalized communities and support even more sustainable income opportunities all over the world, every day.
Over the past year, we’ve grown our charity collaborations, working with incredible organizations like This is About Humanity, VOW and Alliance of Moms, to name a few.
For every purchase, we are donating 50% back to the respective charity. Stay tuned this fall for more exciting collaborations that we are very proud of and grateful to support.
