
After a rise in car thefts in areas around Pacific Palisades, an alleged serial car burglar was re-arrested in the Huntington on June 18.
The suspect, Keith Whittington, was arrested for similar crimes in February 2015 after being chased and apprehended by SSA Security officers. Whittington was handed over to LAPD and spent a few months in custody.

Shortly after his release, vehicle theft crimes returned to a high, sparking a police investigation, and two felony warrants were issued on his behalf. In the dark morning hours of last Saturday, SSA officers discovered Whittington attempting to conceal himself behind a parked car on Topoya Dr, according to a press release from the security company.
Whittington was then handed over to LAPD to be taken into custody.
