As part of an “Arts and Crafts for Service” course by science teacher Dena Walker, middle school students at Calvary Christian School recently visited local Fire Stations 23 (above) and 69 (below) in order to express their gratitude to these first responders. The students made “Mounds of Thanks for all you Dew” care packages, comprised of Mountain Dew bottles with handmade labels and a pouch, which contained a Mounds chocolate bar.
