Calvary submitted four auditions and all four students—Charlie Wildhelm (fifth grade), Paul Kedeshian (fifth grade), Katie Russo (fourth grade) and Rowan Goss (seventh grade)—were accepted.
The students had the unique opportunity to work with renowned conductors who run nationally recognized choirs, many of whom are contest-winning university choral directors.
OAKE has four national conference choirs for students ranging from fourth-12th grade. Altogether 418 students participated in the choirs representing 123 cities and 27 states.

“It was an honor to be part of such a significant gathering of so many talented and respected musicians. At Calvary, we strongly believe in the arts as a form of expression and growth for our students, and it was exciting to see their talents and hard work being appreciated in such a meaningful way. It truly was an unforgettable experience,” said Amanda Fuerst, Calvary’s Choir Director.
