Wednesday, 9:47 p.m. UPDATE: Los Angeles police officers placed two men in custody near the intersection of El Medio Avenue and Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades in connection to a burglary on Enchanted Way. The incident, which was reported around 2:30 p.m., occurred in the 900 block of Enchanted Way. “A neighbor [on Enchanted Way] called 911 and said that there was suspicious looking white male getting into a white Range Rover,” said Scott Wagenseller, CEO of Palisades Patrol. “The neighbor suspected that he might be a burglar.” The older suspect was driving and the younger suspect was in the passenger seat, said Lt. Paul Espinosa of the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspect vehicle was seen by witnesses leaving the scene of the crime and was stopped near the intersection of El Medio and Sunset Blvd., Espinosa said. “We are checking to see if they are wanted for other crimes,” he said. LAPD officials said that the home was ransacked and that the suspect vehicle contained allegedly stolen goods. Espinosa said that the goods have not been shown to the homeowners. He could not confirm if the items were stolen. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Enchanted Way. — Wednesday, 2:50 p.m. UPDATE: Police scanner reports indicate that at least one suspect has been placed in custody. An eyewitness said that two men had been handcuffed and that there were numerous patrol cars and air units canvassing the area.
