Actor Bradley Cooper has purchased a $4.8 million off-market Pacific Palisades home, according to a report from Dirt, marking his third West Los Angeles real estate purchase.
“Enveloped in trees and secured behind gates along a wide street on which cars fly by at notoriously quick clip, the not-quite-two-thirds-of-an-acre spread was not available on the open market, so current details are somewhat thin,” according to Dirt.
According to a 2015 listing, the nearly 4,400-square-foot estate includes a two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest house surrounded by lush greenery within the gated estate. The two-story guesthouse includes two one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments, complete with a living area and a kitchenette each. The single-story four-bedroom, three-bathroom home features wood paneling and a detached two-car garage.
According to Dirt, the property’s backyard boasts forest-like foliage, including sycamore, oak and various fruit trees, as well as a koi pond and stone-lined pool and spa.
Familiar with the area, Cooper’s additional LA properties include another residence in Rustic Canyon that he purchased in 2009 for $4.7 million and a townhouse in the 35-unit Dogtown Station in Venice that he purchased in 2010 for approximately $1.2 million. He also holds property on the East Coast, making his most recent purchase a nice getaway from his penthouse in Manhattan’s West Village that he purchased in 2018 for $13.5 million.
Cooper has starred in a number of films, from the 2009 cult-classic “The Hangover” to the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise and “A Star is Born” alongside Lady Gaga.
