Former UCLA men’s basketball head coach and current Mississippi State head coach Ben Howland will hold his 10th annual Youth Basketball Camp next Monday through Friday at Palisades High.
Open to boys and girls ages 6-12, the camp will focus on defense, rebounding, dribbling, passing and shooting.

After two years off, Howland was hired by Mississippi State in March. In 10 seasons at UCLA, he guided the Bruins to the NCAA Tournament seven times, including three straight Final Four trips (2006-2008) and four conference regular-season titles (2006-08, 2013).
Howland compiled a 233-107 record (a .685 winning percentage) with the Bruins and has compiled a 401-206 overall collegiate record in his 19 seasons (five at Northern Arizona, four at Pittsburgh and 10 at UCLA).
