Actor Ben Affleck listed his seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in Pacific Palisades for $29.9 million. Affleck purchased the then-new Riviera estate in 2017 for $19 million.
Nestled in a gated oasis next to The Riviera Country Club, the residence boasts a 13,453-square-foot floor plan on over half an acre.
A lush, front yard and columned front porch welcomes guests into the home, complete with a curved staircase, box-beamed ceilings and bay windows.
The primary suite features a fireplace, spa-like bathroom, walk-in closet, balcony and vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has “chic” blue cabinetry, Miele appliances, marble countertops, a dining area and window that showcases the garden.
Additional amenities include a basement, wellness room, upstairs lounge, media room and home theater, a recreation room with a full bar, a temperature-controlled, walk-in wine cellar, and the “perfect work-from-home” office, according to the listing.
Outdoors, the residence boasts an expansive lawn and raised garden beds, a guesthouse with a kitchenette, bathroom and the privacy created by encompassing ficus trees. An outdoor covered patio invites guests to dine al fresco—complete with heaters and a fireplace—and space to lounge after a dip in the pool and spa.
The listing described the home as a “private haven.”
“Laden with luxe amenities and incredible design … this home beckons a coveted lifestyle of beauty and comfort,” according to the listing. “With every detail carefully attended to, experience the height of style and luxury.”
Santiago Arana and Amir Mostame of The Agency hold the listing.
The property is said to be active under contract, and backup offers are being accepted. TMZ reported that Affleck found a buyer for the home and accepted an offer on Tuesday, August 30.
