After several postponements because of rain, tryouts for the upcoming Pacific Palisades Baseball Association season were held Saturday and Sunday at the Palisades Recreation Center’s Field of Dreams complex. Players ages 7-14 were evaluated on their ability to run, catch, hit and throw. Practices begin Feb. 11 and the pancake breakfast to officially open the 2017 season will be Saturday, March 17.
