The AYSO Region 69 fall season will commence with practices next Wednesday, Sept 8. A total of 134 teams were released on Tuesday. Boys and girls ages 4-15 will once again be able to play their favorite sport, despite safety precautions, but Commissioner Debbie Held is proud of her staff, which has worked throughout the summer to provide an exciting program for soccer youth in Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Topanga and parts of Santa Monica. “This will be a season to celebrate our kids, our community and the game we love,” Held said. “It’s all about the kids.”
Practices will be from 4-8 p.m. All games will begin September 18 and continue through November 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Picture Day is October 3 at the Palisades High football field from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual 8U tournament is on December 4 and the 10U to 12U league playoffs begin from 8 a,m. to 5 p.m.
No testing requirements for players in the 5U to 12U Divisions. For 13U to 16U and all coaches and referees, weekly negative test results are required for the unvaccinated. Masks are optional while playing.
