RYAN PECSOK
A 5-foot-10 sophomore libero on the UC Santa Barbara men’s volleyball team, Ryan recorded four assists and two digs in the Gauchos’ four-set victory over Princeton last Wednesday. Two nights later, he had two assists and seven digs in a five-set win at Pepperdine. in 21 sets played, Ryan has 14 assists and is second on the team with 27 digs. He played in 16 matches last season, totaling 92 digs, 21 assists and a kill. He was a libero for three years at Loyola High under coach Michael Boehle, earning First-Team All-Mission League and honors and twice being named Loyola’s Defensive MVP. Ryan helped the Cubs win the Southern Section Division I title in 2016 and the CIF regional title in 2017. He played for Pacific Palisades Volleyball Club, MB Surf and Lades Volleyball Club.
