A junior wide receiver, cornerback, safety and kick returner on the varsity football team at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, Holden scored three touchdowns and accounted for nearly 200 yards of offense in last Friday’s 54-27 nonleague victory over Newbury Park. The Celts improved to 2-4 heading into tomorrow night’s Angelus League opener against Loyola. Holden was an All-League Second Team selection in the spring. He played in the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association and was a member of the Cooperstown Bronco 12U team that reached the PONY West Coast Zone Championships in 2016. He also played on the Palisades Recreation Center’s flag football squad that reached the LA County regionals. Holden is President of his class and, with a 4.5 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society at Crespi. He previously attended John Thomas Dye Elementary and Harvard-Westlake Middle School.
