COURTNEY O’BRIEN
A senior forward on the Princeton women’s soccer team, Courtney recorded the seventh two-goal game in her college career and was a split second away from netting a third goal in the Tigers’ 2-2 draw with Villanova last Thursday in New Jersey. Courtney scored on a 30th-minute penalty-kick and off a 53rd-minute crossing pass from Gabi Juarez, but her would- be third tally on a rebound was waved off because it hand not crossed the goal line when time expired. Courtney had four two-goal games as a sophomore, one as a junior and now has two as a senior. All but one of her 15 goals at Princeton have been in a two-goal game. The lifelong Palisadian was a standout at Harvard-Westlake High, graduating in 2014 as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
