A junior forward and midfielder on Princeton University’s women’s soccer team, Courtney scored twice in the second half to lead the Tigers to a 2-0 victory over Ivy League rival Harvard on Saturday. Six days earlier, she assisted on Princeton’s goal in a 1-0 triumph over Columbia in New York City. Courtney has tallied two goals and two assists in 13 games for the Tigers, who improved to 9-3-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Ivy League. After seeing action in 12 games as a freshman, she scored nine goals to earn All-Ivy League first-team honors last season. The lifelong Palisadian from Pacific View Estates was a three-time Mission League MVP and three-time All-CIF first- teamer at Harvard-Westlake High, leading the Wolverines to four straight league titles.
