A freshman on the UCLA women’s tennis team, Sophie was one of three Bruins honored as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, awarded to student-athletes who were varsity letterwinners, had a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the year, and completed at least the equivalent of two semesters of classes at their current school. In her debut season in Westwood Sophie went 1-3 in doubles and was selected to the 2018 Spring Director’s Honor Roll. She and partner Alaina Miller Made it to the round of 16 at the Jack Kramer Collegiate Invitational. She was MVP of her Oaks Christian High team three years in a row and reached the CIF-Southern Section doubles final with her sister Chloe in 2016.
