KATHARINE DOBLE

A Harvard-Westlake High graduate and Riviera resident, Katharine took fourth out of 56 competitors in the Female One Person Dinghy Class at the Allianz Youth World Sailing Championships in The Hague, Netherlands. She was the United States’ only entry in the event, accumulating a net of 33 points across seven races—recording second, third, fourth, sixth, seventh and 11th-place efforts to finish a scant three points behind third-place Roos Wind from Holland. Doble went to St. Matthew’s from preschool through 8th grade and is headed for Brown University in the fall.  In December, she In December, she represented the USA at the Youth Sailing World Championships in Oman, and was 10th in a field of 46 sailors.
