Pacific Palisades Community Council has partnered with Pacific Palisades Library Association and Palisades Charter High School to present a Youth Art Exhibit, commemorating the 50th anniversary of PPCC, which will run through November 22 at Palisades Branch Library.

“This year, as we celebrate our 50th year as the organization that provides a forum for the discussion of community issues, we are proud to celebrate alongside the more than 30 organizations who participated in our Anniversary Jubilee & Community Celebration in September at Simon Meadow,” PPCC wrote in a statement, “and with our fabulous community youth who have submitted wonderful works of creativity and art for display.”
The exhibit, which can be seen from 12 to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, was curated by Pali High photo instructor Rick Steil.
PPCC was established in 1973 and has since developed a board of elected and appointed representatives from area residents and neighborhoods, as well as nonprofit organizations and business groups.
“PPCC is pleased to be part of this community,” the statement concluded, “and proud to be serving all its residents since 1973.”
