Los Angeles resident Paul Davis, who coached basketball in Pacific Palisades, was arrested on Wednesday, October 19, at 11 a.m. on suspicion of continuous sexual abuse of a minor.
The LAPD Juvenile Division received information on Friday, October 14, of an ongoing sexual assault that occurred in the 5700 block of Centinela Avenue, as well as the 17000 block of West Sunset Boulevard, LAPD reported in the statement.
“The suspect was identified as 33-year-old Paul Anthony Davis, a resident of Los Angeles,” the statement continued. “Davis coaches basketball at a local high school and is involved in a youth basketball program in the Los Angeles area.”
Davis was arrested on October 19, with bail set for $35,000. His next court date is November 14, according to the Los Angeles Inmate Information Center.
The case will be presented to the LA District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration, according to the statement.
“Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying any additional victims who were assaulted … ,” according to the statement from LAPD.
Anyone who may be a victim or has additional information relative to Davis is asked to contact Juvenile Division detectives at 424-259-7094.

Davis, a Palisades Charter High School Class of 2007 graduate, spent time as a basketball coach for his Program Humble in the Palisades. He acted as the school’s head junior varsity coach between 2012 and 2013.
