
The MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House’s 2013 Architecture Tour on Sunday, June 23 will feature houses and studios related to its current exhibition, “Everything Loose Will Land” and other shows in the Getty’s “Pacific Standard Time Presents: Modern Architecture in L.A.” initiative.
The tour includes the Spiller House (Frank Gehry, 1980); Alan-Voo House (Neil M. Denari Architects, house renovation/extension, 2007); Peter Alexander Studio (Peter Alexander, 1999); Petal House (Palisadian Eric Owen Moss, 1982); and the 2-4-6-8 House (Morphosis, 1978).
The tours will be held between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and take approximately 3.5 hours. For tickets ($70, self-drive; shuttle option surcharge is $60), call (323) 651-1510.
The MAK Architecture Tour is the annual fundraiser for the nonprofit MAK Center, located at 835 N. Kings Rd. in West Hollywood.
