Pacific Palisades neighbors and good friends Jacqueline Bourlier and Wendy Price Anderson rose early on a recent Saturday morning to visit Will Rogers State Beach and photograph the sunrise over Santa Monica and the pier (left). They also left a Valentine Day’s gift on a rock along the surfline (below). ’Jacqueline and I have enjoyed doing projects together through the years,’ says Anderson, ‘and have been fortunate to have photos of two of our holiday projects published in the Palisadian-Post: a Christmas sandman in 2010 and a Tom turkey at the beach in 2011.’
