Wow, each year I am impressed with the entries to your Halloween home decorating contest, more and more than the year before!!! How are Palisadians so creative? How do you all keep stepping up your creativity?
Halloween
It was fun to see the different Halloween-themed events around town. I love that there is always so much to do here.
Kruse
Loved the play on words with the story: Electric Bike Shop to “Kruse” into Sunset Blvd. Can’t help but give kudos to a good pun!
(Editor’s note: Thank you—although, to be fair, Kruse is pronounced with an “s” (like Chris) instead of a “z” like cruise, according to shop owners Andrew and Tara Grove—“but the pun is intentional, and the occasional slip-up is embraced.”)
COVID
There seem to be reports of COVID cases surging again. I urge Palisadians to be cautious, wear their masks in populated spaces and wash their hands. Being sick isn’t fun and spreading it to others isn’t either.
Chamber Awards
Congratulations to the women honored by the Chamber of Commerce. I was happy to read award winners lived in both communities of Pacific Palisades and Malibu.
Starbucks
Friendly reminder to my neighbors: While I am not a fan of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks holiday drinks have returned, and they are delicious as always. Happy Holidays!
