Corpus Christi School hosted a Halloween parade the morning of Friday, October 29. The annual event was one of many that were on hiatus in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club had a fall cleaning event at the clubhouse in October. Members went through things like files, the kitchen, storage and the grounds.
The Santa Monica History Museum has appointed its first-ever executive director: John Kearns. He will oversee all museum operations, including education and public programming, development, external communications, finance, and staffing.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Santa Monica History Museum as the museum board has entrusted me in stewarding this remarkable institution into the future,” Kearns shared in a statement. “I look forward to working closely with our staff and the communities we serve in Santa Monica, and to make sure that we are fulfilling our mission to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of Santa Monica for generations to come.”
