It was another banner day for Palisades High racquetball players Dane Elkins and Jared Anwar at the Tournament of Terror IRT Tier 5 event at the old Mid Valley Club in Reseda
Elkins was runner up in the pro singles division (falling to Nico Miramonte, 11-7, 11-4, 9-11, 11-2) and will likely move into the top 45 in the IRT rankings. He also took second place in doubles. His father Brett reached the singles semifinals, losing to Dane.
Anwar captured the boys 18-and-under singles division and Cody Elkins, Dane’s younger brother, was third in juniors.

Dane Elkins is entered in the Open doubles division with 2016 Team USA player Chris Crowther at Bay Club in Canoga Park.
Anwar and Brett Elkins will team up in the Elite division.
Dane Elkins will likely be the No. 1 seed in all three divisions at the high school championships and will try to become the second boys player in 50 years to sweep the top divisions in singles, doubles (with Anwar) and mixed doubles (with Attosa Rejaei).
