Joe Matlock, who is Lago’s Master Sommelier, carefully curated a wine list of more than 400 wines, with bottles from every major wine-producing region of Italy.
Matlock is also a mixologist and custom cocktail designer and uses organic, local liquors in combination with organic Farmer’s Market produce for the best flavors.
Lago is green-certified and was the proud recipient of Santa Monica’s 2015 Sustainable Quality Awards’ Grand Prize, recognizing the restaurant’s dedication to sustainable and green practices.
