
Palisadian Will Bantle has enjoyed his share of success on the sand. Last week he added another feather to his cap at the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships in Santa Monica, where he and partner Tanner Woods won the U19 Boys gold bracket. Teams from the United States, Canada and Australia competed.

Bantle and Woods defeated fellow National Training Team members Aidan Brown and Rob Mullahey in the gold medal match, 21-15, 21-17 after prevailing 21-16, 19-21, 20-18 in the semifinals against Paul Burnett and Bryce Poland from Australia.
In the U21 division in Hermosa Beach, older brother Jackson Bantle and fellow Palisadian Hagen Smith made the finals, falling in three sets to Canadian U23 duo Gabriel Burlacu and Sergey Grabovsky.
