Several dozen members of the Palisades-based philanthropy group, Dollies Making a Difference, gathered at the home of Palisadian Cindy Simon to make hundreds of valentines last week.

The handmade cards were delivered to area nursing homes and patients at UCLA Medical Center whose People Animal Connection teams (dog and owners) were responsible for deliveries.

Decked-out doggies and their owners spread the love to the geriatric, cancer and pediatrics wards at UCLA Santa Monica with the Dollies’ valentines in tow.
