Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to speak Monday night, Oct. 20, at a $32,400 per person fundraiser at Brentwood’s Tavern restaurant benefiting the Democratic Party’s bid to retain control of the United States Senate.

Co-chairs for the dinner benefiting the Grassroots Victory Project 2014 include filmmaker Steven Spielberg, Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg and Disney Studio Chairman Alan Horn, according to an invitation posted on the website PoliticalPartyTime.org, which tracks political fundraisers.
Grassroots Victory Project 2014 is a joint fundraising committee consisting of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, 11 state Democratic Party organizations and 14 Senate campaigns, according to a document filed with the Federal Election Commission.
The $32,400 ticket price is the maximum individual contribution to a national party committee in a calendar year.
