
Jo Kremer, a senior at Harvard-Westlake High, has been selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s inaugural High School Sand All-America Team.
Kremer, who is bound for the University of Notre Dame, completed the high school season undefeated on the beach and also played at the Elite Beach Volleyball Club where she was selected to the club’s top team after finishing first and being selected MVP in the San Diego Beach Volleyball Club Sand Combine. She earned the gold medal at this year’s AAU Beach Volleyball Elite Power League Pairs Tournament. Kremer led Harvard-Westlake’s indoor team to the CIF Southern Section Division 1A final in November.

Loyola High junior Bryant Falconello shot a 74 to finish tied for 12th place Monday at River Ridge Golf Course and qualify for the CIF-SS Individual finals May 27 at Mission Lakes Country Club.
Falconello, who went to Calvary Christian School and was an All-Star player in the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association, led Loyola’s varsity team to the Mission League title this spring.
