Scott and Serena Bateman of Pacific Palisades announce the engagement of their son Adam Bateman to Ariana Ryerson both of Los Angeles.
The future bride is the daughter of Lance and Sharon Ryerson of Simi Valley. She is a graduate of Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo with a degree in business finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst with the firm UBS in Century City.
The future groom graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in business and works as a business analyst at the corporate office of Harbor Freight Tools in Calabasas.
The couple have a shared enjoyment of water, snow and land sports including skiing, diving, biking and riding. A May wedding is planned.
