On Saturday, November 2, approximately XX members gathered for the 50th anniversary of tennis at The Riviera Tennis Club. Although there was no action on the courts, the event served up a spectacular evening looking back at 50 years of tennis and gazing into the club’s future.
Since its beginnings in 1963, The Riviera Tennis Club has continued to provide what it claims to be the finest private club tennis experience in the world. The Riviera’s commitment to the game is evident through its partnership with the ITA Women’s All American Tennis Championships and its own Riviera Tennis Foundation, which leads an outreach program for over 300 underprivileged and at-risk youths in the greater Los Angeles area. The Riviera continues to make investments in its facility, including the recently completed renovation of the tennis clubhouse.
