The Riviera Tennis Club, celebrating its 50th anniversary, is hosting the Women’s All-American Tennis Championships this week, culminating on Sunday. This is the largest NCAA women’s event and features the nation’s top college players.
The tournament is free and open to the public. Saturday’s semifinals (singles and doubles) begin at 10 a.m., and Sunday’s finals will be at 11 a.m., both on the upper courts.
Several UCLA players are participating this year, including Robin Anderson and Kyle McPhillips in the main singles draw. Last year’s winner was University of Florida senior Lauren Embree, the second Florida player in three years to win the tournament.
