Los Angeles Fire Department personnel helped rescue a 93-year-old man from the Via de Las Olas bluffs area of Pacific Palisades today. The man, who suffers from dementia, wondered out of his home and down one of the hiking trails of the popular bluffs area, said Capt. Egizi, of the LAFD. “He wondered off in the early morning hours and was recovered a short time later.” The incident was first reported at about 8 a.m. No injuries were reported.
