
Public Works Improvisational Theatre presents “Forever Bloomsday Celebration” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 at the Warszawa Attic, 1414 Lincoln Blvd.
The program, hosted by Eric Vollmer and Lee Boek, is modeled on a Euro-style salon of Irish music, comedy and Joyce’s “Ulysses.”
The Moynahan Brothers will play Irish music to their heart’s content; William Bassett will deliver Joyce’s satire “Gas from a Burner”; Kaitlin Ferrell will perform as Gerty McDowell and Doug Spitz as Leopold Bloom from “Ulysses”; Michael Lindsay will saunter through Flann O’Brien’s “Bash in the Tunnel”; DJ Carlile will amble through a passage from “Finnegans Wake”; Peter Kors will trace Dublin’s plumbing from “Ulysses”; and Jacquelyn Mahoney will sing and perform as “Molly Bloom.”
