1. Téa Koudsi: Do you have any hobbies other than writing for the Post?
Jacqueline Primo: I love to write short stories, read, watch movies, go out to eat and hang out with my cat.
2. Téa: What was the most exciting article you’ve written?
Jacqueline: One of the most exciting articles I have ever written was about a missing girl. I also love going to schools and writing about their talent shows, plays and science fairs.
3. Téa: What was the first job you ever had?
Jacqueline: The first job I ever had was babysitting when I was 13. I babysat for two twin boys and an infant.
My first real job, though, was working at a store when I was 16.
4. Téa: When did you start writing for the Post?
Jacqueline: I started writing for the Post in May of 2013—close to two years ago. When I first got the job I was a reporter, then I got promoted to Assistant Managing Editor.
5. Téa: Did you like writing as a kid?
Jacqueline: Yes. I loved it. I wrote poems and books in first grade. I put stickers on the books and they were self-illustrated.
I didn’t know any of these things about Jacqueline Primo. Thank you, Jacqueline, for letting me interview you. I had a really fun time and it was my first real interview!
