Las Casas
Heart felt cheers to the families of Las Casas for putting up such spectacular lights this year – your street really shared the Christmas Spirit with all!
Paliskates
Shout out to Paliskates: How wonderful to have affordable, great merchandise here locally. And a wonderful owner! Sure a hit during Gift season!
Pickleball
The parks department was asked to paint pickleball lines in Summer 2021 and agreed to move forward. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport and we have many locals who want to play with out having to apply tape to make boundary lines. Why haven’t the lines been painted when it’s been almost 18 months?
(Editor’s note: The Post has sent a request for information about the status of the lines on the tennis court and will publish when information is available.)
Potrero Canyon I
Wow if I had read the letter to the editor on how many issues Wolfberg Park has I would never had gone down to see it. I didn’t so I went and I must say how impressed I was. So it is over budget and behind schedule; however what is complete is a great addition to our beautiful city. Be patient folks it will get done!
Potrero Canyon II
Why was the gate to the new Potrero Park chained and padlocked this whole long New Years weekend? I couldn’t get in at the tennis court entry, and lots of other people had the same problem and just walked away frustrated. The park was supposed to be open now.
(Editor’s note: The Post has requested information about the gate and will publish information as it’s available.)
Coverage
No coverage on developer Arman Gabaee’s four-year prison sentence for bribery? He claimed it was a one-time event, but come on — the wiretaps sound like an episode of “The Sopranos.” Save the Bluffs from him!
(Editor’s note: Please look for coverage in a future edition of the Post.)
