Hostess Gifts
With the holiday season here and parties galore, rather than buying hostess gifts, consider donating to a local charity like the Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness in the name of your hosts!
Pools
Why is LADBS still approving permits for new pools while LADWP is still restricting outdoor watering to only 2 days a week? Seems a bit unfair that folks can use massive amounts of water for a new pool, but I can’t water my landscaping.
Jimmy Dunne I
I just wanted to say thank you for the article by Jimmy Dunne about letting kids be kids. I was very disappointed by the attitude towards sports in general in Pacific Palisades, in particular with baseball. Baseball was my favorite thing to play with friends as a kid – but it was two practices and a game, and was entirely for fun, where you played with your neighborhood and there were no try-outs. Because of this, there was lots of room for me to do all sorts of other sports, which I did. Please leave room for people to enjoy sports just for camaraderie and fun – it doesn’t all have to be about maximizing your chance to play a sport in college! Grateful that my kids are well rounded and versed in many sports, and not just one.
Jimmy Dunne II
I love the Jimmy Dunne Says column! And I love Pali Post so much!!
Thank You
Thank you for being a creator and ambassador for our community. 🙂
Potrero
I have worked in the community for a little over 6 years now and I have been waiting for Potrero Canyon to open the whole time. I am looking forward to visiting the park and seeing what it has to offer.
