John Doherty
Kudos to whom ever wrote the beautiful and light hearted obituary of John Doherty. What a tender remembrance of your loved one’s life. I didn’t know John but I’m sure that the world was better because he was here. Thank you!
See’s
It’s a perfect example of what is happening to our Village, that See’s is being replaced by an upscale elite French clothing store. The spirit of Mort’s Deli is long gone, our Village lacks casual warmth and soul.
Trees
I’m glad to see the rec center will have a few more trees in its midst soon!
‘Best Paw Forward’ I
Thank you so much for featuring the fabulous work of local animal services and rescue groups. Animals, like people, deserve respect, love, care and protection. Adopt your next best friend and love of your life. Do not support breeders and shops. Adopt and save a life. Someone is waiting for you desperately.
‘Best Paw Forward’ II
I appreciate that the Post included cats in its piece on rescue organizations. Most stories I have seen tend to focus on dogs, but there are cats who deserve a nice home in shelters as well. Especially senior cats who have been displaced. I used to be a dog person, through and through, but after getting a cat, I can now say that these pets are special and loving in their own way. Please consider a cat next time you’re welcoming a new pet as well.
Rotary Club
That “Demotion Party” story intrigued me and I think that’s such a fun way to celebrate a new leadership.
Mayor
I really wonder who is going to succeed Mayor Eric Garcetti. I hope the Pali-Post can do another analysis of the Palisades’ voting results for the November election.
Coffee
I was happy to read that my cup of coffee may not be the worst thing in the world for me. Thanks, Dr. Raskin.
