Valentine’s
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, take this as an opportunity to support local businesses! They still need our help and there’s plenty reasons to choose to support them.
Bob Klein
The series profiling Bob Klein was outstanding and this is coming from a lifelong Bruin who disliked (just on the field!) Bob back in the 60’s. Have known him since socially and he and his family have been an important part of the community and have contributed a lot.
COVID-19
I’m so relieved to see that COVID case numbers are starting to decline! I want to see this as a glimmer of hope but please keep in mind that we want to keep our numbers low! I beg you all to continue to social distance and wear your mask to keep the community safe.
Jerry’s
Inspired by the recent dining review, I was excited to try Jerry’s Patio Cafe. Went to their website to check it out and turns out they are closed! That’s too bad, I hope they reopen soon.
Editor’s note: About a week after the Post published its review, Jerry’s Patio Café & Bar announced via social media and its website that is has closed “for now.” A statement from the website ensures they plan to “regroup and return.”
Honorary Mayor
My heart swelled with pride for our community watching the recent inauguration of Mayor Eugene Levy. While we have unfortunately been socially distant for almost a year, the event served as a reminder as to what makes our community so special.
Michael Moore
Thank you to Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore and his many years of service in Pacific Palisades. I wish him well in his retirement.
