Children ages 3 to 12 are invited to compete in a variety of events.
“The Annual Track Meet gives kids … the opportunity to compete in a variety of track and field events,” according to the event flyer. “Kids can do as many events as they would like in their age division.”
Kids events include 25 meters, 50 meters, 100 meters, 200 meters, long jump, javelin (foam) and family 4×100.
The track will open at 8:30 a.m., and the event will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $20 per participant if registered by Saturday, May 20, and $30 if registered on the day of the meet.
This year’s event also features “new events for the whole family.” Moms, dads, grandparents and friends are all encouraged to enjoy the festivities and participate for $10. Adult events include 25 meters, 50 meters, 100 meters and a family 4×100.
Awards will include T-shirt and ribbons.
